The Ride Shop · Deal Check

Before you buy it anywhere, check the deal here.

The Ride Shop was built for one moment: the five minutes before you spend money on truck or SUV gear somewhere else. Bring the deal here first. This page is the whole ritual — how a pick earns the Perfect Ride Pick seal, what the seal actually promises, and what it doesn't.

01

It starts with real demand

A pick starts with proof that real drivers actually buy it: best-seller placement, units sold, and review volume, read on the live merchant page in the session the pick is made. No demand proof, no pick — a product nobody buys doesn't get better by being listed here.

02

The photo is the real product

Every card in this shop shows the actual product from the actual merchant listing — in hand, installed, or in use where the listing has it. If a listing has no real photo, the product does not ship to this shelf. No placeholder boxes, no renders, no stock stand-ins.

03

The price is read live — at the merchant

Prices change daily and they belong to the merchant, so this shop does not print prices it can't keep honest. Your tap lands on the live listing, where the number you see is the real number. If a deal looks different there than you expected, the merchant's page is the truth — buy with open eyes or walk away.

04

The check gets stamped with a date

When a pick passes, it is stamped — “Perfect Ride Pick ✓ Checked [date]” — printed right on the card. The date is the day the listing was last verified. Listings die and photos break; when they do, the pick comes down or gets re-checked and re-stamped. A stale seal is worse than no seal.

05

A car man's name is on the shelf

The Ride Shop is run by Kaygun Fontenot — a working Louisiana car man at Mendoza Ford in Maurice, LA, and the owner of Fontenot's Sales Association LLC. Selling cars teaches you exactly what a bad deal looks like from the other side of the desk. His name is on every pick because he'd rather pull a product than let a bad one ride on it.

06

What the seal does not promise

The seal means the listing was checked on the stamped date: real product, real photo, real demand. It is not a hands-on test, a fitment guarantee, or a warranty — these are researched picks, not products installed on our own trucks. The merchant controls price, stock, compatibility, shipping, and returns, so confirm the exact item on their page before you buy.

Straight about the money

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Product links in this shop are paid affiliate links across our partner stores — Amazon, eBay, and CJ merchants. If you buy through one, Fontenot's Sales Association LLC may earn a commission at no extra cost to you; that is how the Deal Check stays free. A commission never buys a place on the shelf — every pick passes the same steps above, and the merchant controls the listing, the price, and the transaction.
